Dear God, Forgive Me,
Dear God, tease to leave be,
Dear God, I know you
In my heart.
Dear God, don’t beleive
That hatred is all we conceive,
To kill in your name
Is not the way;
To judge another isn’t
Ours to say.
Jesus; I understand your pain,
Muhammed, I understand you blame,
Sacred Buddah, I know
Your path,
Yaywheh…I feel your wrath.
We fight over whose belief…
is right.
When through blind disbeleif…
We hold the keys to our plight.
Dear God, humanity is misunderstood,
Dear God, Our vanity is neighborhood,
WE do wrong, then seek
Forgiveness,
I am sorry, I am sorry.
For a name created in cess.
We use your name,
To justify ours,
I wish it were me to blame,
“These Capital Powers.”
We know we die
While we goso high,
Riding this horse of exchange,
In a name:
Covered in a coat of mange.
Dear God, I don’t know
How such a hatred comes,
One of who and so…
Better to sit and twidle my thumbs.
To practice Islam, or to Christ,
I know that you know that there is no difference…
What counts is the geist.
Dear God, if all else fails,
And indeed it will;
Through Christ’s hands were nails,
And in Mohammed’s deserts of still
We must work together
Accept versus Tolerate;
For we are birds of a feather
Our judgement we must exonerate.
Dear God, please forgive religion,
For we misinterpret all…
I may be lost but I have a vision,
Judgement divided we will fall.
Someday: earth will understand
That life is eternal,
And that how we worship doesn’t matter…
What does is unity,
Regardless of religion
And Denomination,
This 10% of all is less…
of your greater hand.
Dear God, I apologize,
For Hate;
For Mistrust;
One day we will decentralize…
And honestly learn to live, love and trust
